A preservation project for Gustavo F. J. Cirigliano's original Fable of the Roasted Pigs, created to preserve its authorship, publication history and original source as the story is frequently reproduced, adapted and circulated without attribution.
This repository preserves and republishes “Fable of the Roasted Pigs” by Gustavo F. J. Cirigliano, including a Brazilian Portuguese text and an English version, while inviting contributions for translations into additional languages.
The fable is a compact critique of organizations that become very good at managing the consequences of a broken system instead of questioning the system itself. That makes it particularly relevant to engineering, institutions, operations and public administration.
The original work is Cirigliano's; this project is about keeping the text accessible, attributed and available to a wider audience.
